Post-4085 and Post-3719 appear to represent the same person because: These two people are the same. It is just in some records his first name is spelled Garret & in other Gerrit.

Post-4085 and Post-3719 do not represent the same person because: names and dates do not match
posted by Eckhart Post
The person who wrote Post-3719 estimated the birthdate as 1755. The person who wrote Post-4085 had the exact birthdate. They both married the same wife. They died on the same day. Conclusion: they are the same person and should be merged.
