His second wife died Hester Prinsloo died 24 Dec 1843 - there is a marriage record for a Lukas Johannes Potgieter (listed as widower) dated 8 September 1845 - Gamtoos River, Uitenhage. His residence listed as the Bushmans river ( https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSJG-L7XM?i=580&cc=2821281) marriage to Regina Catharina Rademeyer.
She remarried in 2 Oct 1873 - listed as widow of Lucas Johannes Potgieter. Her death notice I am thinking there is an error on the dates due to marriage record giving a different date of her first husband death as 1876. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSK8-G8FZ?cc=2821281
Would appreciate anyones thoughts on this.
