Biography
Marie Louise Poitier was born 17 Jul 1756 and baptized the same day in the parish of Immaculée Conception, Trois-Rivières, Canada, Nouvelle-France. She was the daughter of François Poitier and Louise Alavione and her godparents were Barthelemy Poitiers and Louise Alavione. [1]
François Regis Girard, son of the late Michel Girard and Genevieve Hemond, and Marie Louise Pottier, daughter of Françoise Pottier and Marie Louise Alavoine, were married 16 Aug 1773 in the parish of Immaculée Conception, Trois Rivière, Province de Québec. [2]
Louise Pottier, widow of the late François Girard and of the age of fifty-four years, died 11 Jan 1810 and was buried the following day in the cemetery of La Visitation-de-la-Pointe-du-Lac, Pointe-du-Lac, Bas-Canada. [3]
