Marie (Pothier) Surette is a descendant of an Acadian

Marie Seraphie Pothier was the daughter of Calixte Pothier and Catherine Pothier.[1]
She was born August 25, 1864,[1] in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia[2][3] and was baptised August 26, 1864 at St. Michael's[1] in Tusket Wedge.[3]
She grew up in the family home on the west side of the main road just south of the Black Pond Road in Tusket Wedge.[2]
She married Onesiphore Surette, the son of Sylvain Dosithee Surette and Marie Madeleine Boudreau, on January 30, 1888 at St. Michael's.[4]
Marie Seraphie died some time after 1891 as she appears on that year's census report.[5]
