You posted that you thought Clark-22599 Edward Clark " . . . may be a son of Clark-28885 John Clark if other people in the family appear on the Federal Census listed in the sources." The information I have seen indicates that Edward's father was Erastus Clark, and his mother was Lucy Wheeler.

Hi Andrew, When you add parents, children, or change anything on an existing profile, please make sure you add your sources to that profile. Thanks so much for helping to improve Wikitree.

Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Looking to make more connections or find more information about an ancestor but not sure how to do that? Try categorizing your profiles.

Not sure what to put into a biography? Here are some Bio Ideas. Also, make sure that the biographies match WikiTree’s Styles and Standards.

If you come across an unresponsive manager, we have a process for those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!!

Andrew, I was looking at your tag, and I'd like to suggest that you add surname(s) as well as location. By doing that, you can then click on those tags, and you'll be taken to a page where you'll see other genealogists who are also following those surnames and locations. This Link will auto-populate your tag page. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

I really encourage you to explore the connections it helps you make. :-)

Hi Andrew

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Being that you added a tag about New Haven and the Puritans, you may be interested in our Puritan Project that we have going on, you can find it at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Puritan_Great_Migration

Again, thanks for volunteering to work on Pre-1700 profiles along with adding your own family branch to our huge ancestry tree here on WikiTree!!

Hi Andrew,

A warm welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

We’re really glad you’re here. More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.

Ludwig :)
