Her husband Jesse passed away on May 6, 1874, in Edgartown, Massachusetts, at the age of 55. They had been married 36 years.
At age 62, and widowed she was keeping the home in New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts in 1880, with her father Simon-83 in the home with her.[8]
Deborah died at the age of about 73 in 1891 in New Bedford, Bristol, Ma.[1][9]
