Mary Storer Potter is the Daughter of Judge Barrett Potter b. 08 May 1776 and Anne Storer b. abt 1781
She married on 14 Sep 1831 in Portland, Cumberland Co., ME, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (poet, buried at this cem.); they had no children. He knew Mary from school days and met her again during a church service.
In 1834, Mary accompanied Henry to Europe; Mary had a miscarriage and died from complications in 1835.
Col. T. W. Higginson is to be married to Miss Mary P. Thatcher in March. The lady is a granddaughter of the late Judge Barrett Potter, of Portland, and was named after her aunt, Mary Potter Longfellow, the first wife of the poet.[1]

I added some more sources which seem to show her maiden name as Potter her mother’s maiden name was Storer and was used as a middle name. Her engraving on her gravestone shows her full maiden name and she is first listed as H.W.L. Wife then below her name is the 2nd wife Frances Elizabeth Appleton (her full maiden name as well. So a pattern we can clearly see)
If you feel we have enough sources then only a profile manager (pm) can go under edit and change last name where it says in bold text Last Name at Birth. A reason will be asked usually I would say typo or clarified by sources cited.
