Biography
Dorcas was the widow of John Dearstyne when she married Rev. George B. Wells. Dorcas brought two children into this marriage: Alonzo Dearstyne and Catherine E. Dearstyne.[1][2] The marriage was performed by George B. Reynolds, Justice of the Peace, in Bolton. Witnesses to the wedding were Caleb Wells, George Potter, Thomas Finkle, and Miles Waters.[3]
