Hi Steven,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Steve,

Do you mind if I post https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stone-15616 on the Military and War Google Group.  ? I intermittently post a profile there to stimulate interest. This of course would be Civil War.

Steve,

Looking at just a few of your profiles, I see you are doing well on WikiTree. I can make one or two recommendations that I learned the hard way. Try to spell out most abbreviations, especially those in locations. This is a general rule on many Wiki's and makes a lot of sense. The profiles just look more professional and are easier to read with no abbreviations.

Also, since many of your profiles have only census data for references, you should consider revisiting them in the future to add additional sources, especially those which contain specific dates. Note that the DAR and NSSAR only accept census data as a secondary source... for whatever that's worth.

You've made a good start. Keep up the good work!

Bill
