Biography
Mary was born in 1867. She is the daughter of Henry Potter and Mary Morland.
The 1871 Census shows Mary living with her parents and sister Caroline at: Moor Farm, Brafferton, Easingwold. Her age is given 3 and place of birth is "Yorks, Brafferton".
In 1881 Mary is not listed with the rest of her family but instead is shown as a servant aged 14 in the house of a local farmer "William Abbay" at Low Dunsforth.

Research Notes
A Mary Martha Potter marries in Sep Qtr of 1888, Easingwold vol 9d page 585. But no spouse is listed. I suspect a mistake in Freebmd.
