She is born in la Rivière des Rochers 26 Oct 1672, where she was also baptized by father Exupère Béthune, Récollet priest, on Nov 3rd of the same year. The record of such was kept at Notre-Dame de Québec.[1] As far as can be determined. the modern-day name is Rivière aux Rochers, in the area of Port-Cartier, on the upper north coast of the St-Lawrence river.[2]
