Biography

Mary Poulter, daughter of Rev Joseph Poulter, of Dunkitt, co. Kilkenny and Margaret Denis.

Mary married Thomas Lewis Mackesy, Esq., M.D. of Aughmaearty Queen's co., and Dunkitt, co. Kilkenny, J.P., Vice- President of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, last mayor of Waterford under the old municipal charter, 1841-2 ; on 1 May 1813.

Children

  1. William Poulter, b. 25 April, 1814; married Feb. 1857, Jane-Anne Hudson, daughter of Joshua Hudson, Esq. of Huzby, near York.
  2. Joseph Poulter, b. 28 Sept. 1815 ; married in June, 1843, Frances Ivie, daughter of George Ivie, Esq. of Waterford.

She died in 1818.
