The birth of Alfred Pound was registered in Q2 1847 in the District of Swindon and Highworth, Wiltshire, son of Pound/Ayliffe.^[1]

Alfred Pound was baptised on 23 Jul 1847 at Highworth Wiltshire, son of William and Maria.^[2]

Alfred Pound age 23, bachelor, Labourer of Eastrop, and Lucretia Boulton age 17, spinster of Somerford Keynes, were married on 15 Apr 1871 at Highworth, Wiltshire. Their fathers were William Pound, Labourer, and Edmund Bowly (no occupation recorded).^[3]

Lucretia Pound died in 1884 age 29.^[4]

It is presumed he was the Alfred Pound whose death was registered in Q1 1917 in the District of Swindon, age 69.^[5]
