Gravestone was found and photographed by Jamie on a visit to Kilkeary Cemetery, which is not far from Toomevara but considered to be a townland of Nenagh. It seems that this is the true home of the O'Briens as the gravestones of ancestors going back at least five generations are found there. 1

This stone reads: 1

Erected by Morgan O'Brien of Annamedle in memory of his dearly beloved wife Margaret ???? Pound who depd this life Feb 9th 1818 Agd 66 Yrs may the good Lord have mercy on her soul Amen. 1

My working theory, based on the age of this woman and the name of the man is that they are the 3rd great grandparents of Jamie. Their son, Morgan, would be the man referred to as Morgan O'Brien senior who was listed as a landowner in Aghnameadle in Griffith's Valuation along with a Morgan Jr and a William O'Brien, whom I take to be his sons. William would be Jamie's great grandfather.
