Martha Povall was born about 1756 in Cumberland, Cumberland, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Richard Povall (1710–1771) and Tabitha Hudspeth (~1723–1767).

Patty (14) married John Moseley (20) (born about 1750 in Cumberland; son of Arthur Moseley IV and Mary (Lockett) Moseley) on December 21, 1772 in Cumberland[1]. Their daughter was Judith Moseley (~1785–>1837).

Patty died about 1818 in Buckingham, Virginia, United States, aged about 61.
