Biography
Nannie was born in 1860 in Smyth county, Virginia.
In 1880, she was working as a servant in the household of Joseph Umbarger in Smyth, Virginia. Ann (Orr) Umbarger, wife of Abram, was in the household. Ann would become Nannie's sister-in-law.
She married John King Orr in 1881. They had a large family.
In 1900, she was widowed and living in Smyth county, Virginia with her children.[1] She was livingin Ellendale, Smyth, Virginia in 1910.[2]
She passed away in 1911.
