This person could not have had Anna Powel, Eunice Powel or Isaac Powell with Ruth Adkins. She died in 1754, so it must be a different John and Ruth Powel.
A Ruth Powel was baptized on 22 Mar 1752 in Middletown, Connecticut, and then a Lydia Powel was baptized on 16 May 1756 at the same church, both to a John Powel. (Connecticut. Church Records Index. Connecticut State Library, Hartford, Connecticut, Volume 070 Part 2 Middletown, p. 438.)
