Patrick, a farmer, was born in Ballarat, Victoria, in 1866[1]. He married Catherine Cameron at Kookynie in Western Australia in 1902[2]. Patrick and Catherine lived in Western Australia for about 2 and 1/2 years but for the rest of their lives they lived in Victoria. They had 8 children, one of whom predeceased them. Patrick died, aged 64, at Charlton, Victoria in 1931[3], his usual residence at the time being Teddywaddy. He was buried at the Charlton Cemetery.
