Biography

John Heighington Powell was born at Warrnambool about 1906^[1].

In 1938 John was a Pharmacist at Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point New South Wales^[2].

He married Dorothy Mabel Taylor in Sydney NSW 1940^[3]. They divorced in 1945 following much published divorce proceedings^{[4] [5]}.

Dorothy Mabel Powell married Henry Milton Pratt at Sydney 1953 (New South Wales Births Deaths and Marriages 7693/1953)

Dorothy Mabel Pratt died 1982, father George Frederick, mother Margaret Lisle (New South Wales Births Deaths and Marriages 6478/1982)

John married Florence Amee Roe in the Mosman district of NSW 1952^[6].

He died in Madrid Spain 1974 and Florence Aimee Powell died 7 Aug 1991^[7]

The birth registration quoted is 1931 however this is likely to be an error as: 1. Registration details are not published less that 100 years after the birth. 2. Mother would have been 60 years old in 1931.
