Burchett was born in 1807 and died 1886. After her death, the land, house and outbuildings were sold at auction to Job P. Wyatt whose family operated the farm for nearly 60 years. Oak View Farm is now managed by Wake County Parks as a historic farmstead and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. 1880 US Census: living at home with 3 older grandchildren.
