Biography

Agnes was born in 1807. She is the daughter of Lewis Powell and Mary Unknown.

From Yonge St Monthly Meeting loose notes, 1812 – 1825

Agness Crout, late Powel having had a right of membership amongst friends, hath accomplished her marriage with a man not in membership with us and friends having treated with her and She not appearing in a disposition to make satisfaction at this time, we therefore disown her from being any longer a member of our Society until She comes to a sence of her Diviation and condems the same to the satisfaction of this meeting.

Sined in and on behalf of Yong Street monthly meeting held the 14th Day of the eighth month 1823
