Elijah Powell was Killed in Action during the United States Civil War.

Biography

Elijah was a son of Ervin R. Powell and Susan B. Yelvington/Elvington. He married Celia E. Burton in 1856.[1]

He entered military service as a private in Company C, 30th Mississippi Infantry. Elijah died in service to the Confederate States on 7 July 1862.
