Eleanor was born about 1714. Eleanor's husband, John Adams, spelled Addams in his will, signed his will on 20 March 1769 in Halifax County, Virginia which was probated 21 September 1769. He named his wife Elenor as Executrix, she giving bond with Benjamin Dickson and Joshua Powell as her securities..[1] She died after 11 December 1771 when she signed her daughter Martha's marriage record to Thomas Dickson in Halifax, Virginia.[2]
Event: She inherits all of her husband John Adams' estate for use during her lifetime or until she remarries. She is also the sole executor of the estate.
