Intelligence has reached Cowra of a fatal accident having occurred at Goolagong, 25 miles down the river. Hubert Power, who was riding a horse across the bridge, collided with a horse ridden by another man, and Power was thrown with violence, causing death one hour,afterward. An inquiry was held by Major West, J.P., and the finding was death from the result of injuries received to his head by a fall.
