Notes
No record result from principle registrar Adelaide search 1867/1877 for birth or 1877/1878. Death certificate registration No: 11899 No: 377. It seems strange that Thomas was born in 1877 is listed as being born in Adelaide South Australia when his sister Catharine who was supposedly born the same year was born in County Clare Ireland. Maybe Catharine was born in January and Thomas was born in December, this is the only explanation I can find given there is no birth record for him in Adelaide. Also they were not supposed to have arrived in Australia until 1883. A researcher of Adelaide Beverley J. Bull could find no record of Thomas' birth in Australia and came to same conclusion even though his son William registered the death and said that he was born in South Australia. We have found that Thomas' father and family arrived in 1883 which would mean that Thomas must have been born in 1877 in Ireland.
