Biography

John Powers, son of Stephen Powers and May Evans Powers, was born about 1855 in Kentucky. He appeared on the census of 14 July 1860 in the home of his parents at District 2, Nelson, Kentucky.[1]

He married Lucy Pendergrass on 21 Nov. 1878 at Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky.[2]
