Richard, age 29, registered for WWI on 5 Jun 1917 residing at 437 Meridian Street, East Boston and had wife and one child at this time. He had prior eyesight and kidney trouble.[4]
Richard passed in 1918 of bronchopneumonia and influenza and was buried at Malden Holy Cross in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.[5]
