Biography

Mary was born in 1854. Daughter of Levi Linus Powers and Mary Martha Kingsley The family of Loren and Mary Powers can be found living near Gold Run, California at the time of the 1870 Census. Those in the household included Loren L Powers (40 yrs), Head of Household, occupation, Miner, Mary Powers (37 yrs), Bell Powers (19 yrs), Louisa Powers (16 yrs), born in New Hampshire, Emma Powers (13 yrs), Elvila Powers (11 yrs), Hattie Powers (7 yrs), Lillie Powers (5 yrs) and Loren Powers (9/12).
