Biography
Florence Meynell Powys was born in 1853 in Bloomsbury, Middlesex, her father, Bransby, was 46, and her mother, Katherina, was 34. She married Robert Alexander Druce on 30 July 1874. They had two children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on 2 August 1880 in London, England, at the age of 27.
