DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Christian by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Christian:
I think this Christian may be attached to the wrong mother. My speculation (see this page) is that David Peebles had a daughter named Christian by each of his wives & that John (b c1635) married one between 1661 and 1664 and the other by 1688. But neither would be born 1680. I also cannot find a Poythress-Ivey connection. Do you have additional source information that you can add to help find the right family for this Christian?
only Ivey-Poythress connection found so far is that Mary Poythress witnessed the 1718 will of Elizabeth Ivey (widow of Adam Ivey) in Martin's Brandon Parish
