IS it possible two different individuals have been combined or mixed up? There is a tombstone in the Miller Cemetery, Vermilion Co IL (FAG 39123100) for John William Prather, born Oct 1848, died 4 Jan 1875. He cannot be the same as this man whose children were all born after 1880.
