Edward Pratt was born on 14 Feb 1850[1] in New York. He was the son of Edward Pratt and Helice Newell, both born in New York.[1]

Edward and Agnes W. Welsh were married on 26 Jan 1886 in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Agnes was 22 years old, born in New York City, the daughter of Robert Welsh and Margaret Lennox].[3] Agnes died, probably in Idaho, before the US Census was taken in 1900.
Edward died on 24 Jun 1918 at his home in Shoshone, Lincoln, Idaho. He was a widowed hotel keeper. Margaret Pratt Shultz of New York City was the informant on his Death Certificate.[1]
