Mildred was born about 1850 to (William) John Pratt and Emily Seale, in Mississippi.
Mittie was about 26 years old and living with her father in Limestone County, Texas in 1876 when she married [1] John Snow, son of Winston Snow and Mary Burch.
This young family settled on a small farm in Brazos, Palo Pinto County, Texas, and in April of 1877, Mittie gave birth to their daughter, Emma Mae.[2] We find this family group together in the 1880 census, including Mittie, husband John, Emma Mae, and Mittie's father, John Pratt. [3]
In October of 1882, Mittie gave birth to a son, Marion Marvin Snow (later known as "Bishop", or "B. M." Snow).
In 1895, daughter Emma married Thomas Stinson in Brazos, Texas, and they settled in their own small farm near Emma's family homestead.
In 1897, Mittie married Luther Warren in Palo Pinto County, Texas.[4] In 1900, we find Mittie and son Marion (Bishop) living with husband Luther Warren in Justice Precinct 4 of Palo Pinto County, just 5 households away from daughter Emma, son-in-law Tom, and 2-year old granddaughter Ethel Stinson.[5]
Sometime after June 1900, probably about 1905, the extended family group left Texas to homestead in Harmon County, Oklahoma and Jackson County, Oklahoma. Several filings are listed in the papers of the time, Mittie's son-in-law, Tom Stinson, filing a claim, with her son Bishop acting as a witness to the claim, or vice versa, between 1907 and 1910.
At the age of 57, Mittie's health began to fail, with weekly accounts of her being "on the sick list" or "bed-ridden" beginning in about May of 1908 in the weekly Looney Record (Looney, Oklahoma). The last report we find online is from the 24 Dec 1908 issue, which states that "Mrs. Warren is still confined to her room, but is up about one half of the time."
As of this writing, no record has been discovered of what became of Mittie. Given her age, the medical technology of the time, and the lack of any record of her after this point, and her husband Luther listing himself as "widowed" in the 1910 census,[6] it is likely that she succumbed to her illness sometime in 1909.

For avoidance of doubt concerning which John Snow it was that Mittie was married to, please refer to the 1880 census where his state of birth is listed as Indiana, and both parents' state(s) of birth are North Carolina. This leaves little room for doubt that this is indeed John Snow, son of Winston Snow and Mary Burch.
