John Dyer Pratt, the son of Edward E Pratt and Frances Dyer was born on January 30, 1871^[1] in Bloomington, Hennepin, Minnesota.^[2]

At age 29, (1900) He was farming on his parent's farm in Bethel Twp., Anoka, Minnesota.^[3]

At age 33, he married Harriett Eugenia Porter (1871-1951) on April 14, 1904 in Bethel, Anoka, Minnesota. They had 5 children.

2. Neil John Pratt (1907-2000)
3. Clifford Edison Pratt (1909-1990)
