Biography

Jonathan Pratt was born in 1673, Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts to parents Thomas Pratt Jr. and Susannah of Framingham.[1]

Jonathan married in 1701 Sarah Gale, born 12 Dec 1681, daughter of John and Elizabeth Spring.[2][3] Jonathan and Sarah had the following known children:

Will dated 14 Sept 1738 as "Jonathan Pratt Sr. of Oxford" names w. Sarah; dtrs Lydia BARTON, Sarah SHUMWAY, Beulah PRATT, Susannah PRATT, Abigail PRATT; and son Jonas. Son Jonas presented will for probate 25 Feb 1760; wit. by Rev. John CAMPBELL, Richard WATERS, and Seth TWITCHELL. Surv. heirs: widow Sarah, Jonathan PRATT, Micah PRATT, Joseph PRATT, Oliver SHUMWAY and w. Sarah, Jedidiah BARTON and w. Lydia, Jonas COLLAR and w. Susannah, and Abigail PRATT.
