Lydia Pratt was born on November 7, 1771, in Reading, Massachusetts. She married Jonathan Temple on November 1, 1792, in her hometown. They had four children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on March 30, 1800, in Reading, Massachusetts, at the age of 28, and was buried there.
