Sarah Etta Davison obituary, Meadville Morning Star, 12 July 1895, p2, c4. Sarah Etta Davison The subject fo this sketch was born September 23, 1845, in Richmond twp., Crawford county, Pa., and was the daughter of David and Lydia Pratt. She was mareid ot Lewis Davison July 7, 1877. She had been in poor health for six years. Wsa taken very sick April 2, 1895, and was a patient sufferer until the time of her death which occured, July 7, 1895, at 1 o'clock, just 18 years to the hour from the time she was married. She died at her home two miles west of Townville where she had lived nearly all her married life. Mrs. Davison was noted for the sterling qualities which go to make up an exemplary woman. Her sole aim through life seemed to be to do her duty and make those around her happy. She leaves, besides a husband, a son Frank and a daughter Bessie to mourn their loss. They have the sympathy of the entire community.

Mrs. Lewis Davison, Crawford Journal, 25 July 1895, p2, c5 July 9. - Mrs. Lewis Davison died last Sunday, after a long illness of three months with pneumonia and other diseases. She leaves a husband and one son and one daughter. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be missed by a large circle of friends who learn with sorrow of her death.
