Nathaniel stays in Framingham, where he applies and receives a pension for his service in the Revolutionary War.[2] Nathaniel states he was wounded at the battle of Bunker Hill. After Nathaniel's death, Elizabeth applies for a widow's pension and includes a list of her children and the date she was married to Nathaniel.[3]
The Framingham clerk verifies the births dates of Nathaniel's five youngest children and also the death date for Nathaniel.[4]
Nathaniel's brother John Pratt files an affidavit from Bradford County, Pennsylvania stating he was present at Nathaniel's wedding to Elizabeth Bullard.[5]
Nathaniel can be found living in Framingham, Massachusetts in the 1800 Federal Census.[6] Nathaniel is living amongst several of his siblings.
By the 1810 Federal Census for Framingham, Ephraim is the only other Pratt brother left in the town.[7]
The 1820 Federal Census has Nathaniel listed as Nathan Pratt.[8] I'm pretty sure this is Nathaniel. He is living next door to Ebenezer Knowlton.
The 1830 Federal Census for Framingham has Nathaniel living next door to his son, Calvin Pratt.[9]
