Emily was born in 1879^[1] She was the daughter of James Preece Emma Pinlott She was living with her parents and siblings at Westcott Street Cottages, Dorking, Surrey, England in 1881^[2] She was still living with her parents and siblings at Bittern Hill, Mickleham, Surrey, England in 1891^[3] She was a servant living with the Phillips family at High Street, Lewisham, London, England and she was working as a Housemaid(Domestic) in 1901^[4]
