Mary Beatrice Preedy was born in 1888 in Plymouth, Devon, her father, Canon Arthur PREEDY , was 30, and her mother, Beatrice, was 30. She married Rev Hubert Crawford Spain in 1915 in St. Germans, Cornwall. She died on 14 December 1915 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, at the age of 27, and was buried in Lutton, Lincolnshire
