Nicolas Prejean was born 7 July 1704. He was the son of Jean Prejean and Andrée Savoye. He was baptized 27 July 1704 at Port Royal. His godparents were Nicolas Didier dit la Fond, sergeant of a company and Magdelaine Baptisse.
He married about 1733 to Marguerite Brossard, daughter of Pierre and Marguerite Bourg.

He arrived at St. Malo, France, on the ship "La Reine d'Espagne" on 17 Nov 1758, with his sons Gabriel & Jean-Baptiste and his daughter Marie (widow of Charles Samson).
He passed away 31 March 1765 at about age 60 and was buried at Landivisiau, near Morlaix, Finistere, France.
