Biography

Rosetta Prentice was born on 10 May 1818. She was the daughter of William Prentice and his wife Elizabeth Wicker.

She married Alexander John Lees in 1837. They had the following children:

1. Elizabeth Jane Lees (b. 28 Jan 1839, d. 21 Jan 1912)
2. John Lees (b. 25 Nov 1840)
3. Sarah Lees (b. 5 May1843)
4. William Robert Lees (b. 24 Nov 1845, d. 18 Oct 1933)

8. Andrew Lees (b. 1856, d. 27 Feb 1902)
9. Benjamin Lees (b. 1858, d. 11 Jul 1935)
10. Mary Ann Lees (b. 1862, d. 28 Aug 1944)

Her husband Alexander passed away on 11 January 1896.

Rosetta passed away on 20 November 1905 and was buried at Moorefields Methodist Cemetery, Kingsgrove, Canterbury-Bankstown Council, New South Wales, Australia^[1].
