I have been researching my family tree for over 20 years and truly appreciate the community of folks who share this endeavor (hobby, passion, obsession ;) LOL). My goal for the next few years is to identify all of my lines back to the original immigrant to North America. So far I have found only one in the first seven generations prior to me. I look forward to meeting and working with everyone here on Wikitree!

A mini-follow-up to your recent work on the Lewis and Clark Expediiton. I was "poking around" and ran into this paper-length (NOT book-length), exceptionally thorough biography of George F. Shannon. I added this as a source: An exceptionally thorough biography (not book-length) of George Shannon is available here: http://www.lewisandclarkinkentucky.org/people/shannon_bio.shtml
