Biography

Clara Elizabeth Prentice was born in Sacramento, California on 13 March 1860.^[1] She was the biological daughter of Edwin D. Prentice, a Sacramento grocer, and Clara (née Stoddard) Prentice. After her father's death, Clara was adopted by her aunt, Elizabeth Stillman (née Stoddard) Huntington, and her husband, industrialist and railway magnate Collis P. Huntington.^[2]

Clara Huntington married Prince Hatzfeldt on 28 October 1889 at the Catholic oratory at Brompton, London.^[3][4]

Princess Clara E De Hatzfeldt-Wildenburg died 18 December 1928 in London, England.^[5][6]
