PRESLEY, MR. CHARLES H. - age 83 years, departed this life Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Summit View Nursing Home in Lake City, Tennessee. Charles was born in West Plains, Missouri, on February 22, 1930, to Leslie and Sadie Presley. He served as minister of Laurel Springs Christian Church, Cosby, for fifteen years.

He retired from Johnson University, Knoxville, after six years of faithful service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Ruth Presley; daughter, Jean Ann Presley Singh; grandson, Jamin Costner; parents, Leslie Howard and Sadie Nora Presley; and brother, Jack Presley.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Jo and Haskell Jeter, Knoxville, TN; son-in-law, Joe Singh, Inverness, FL; grandchildren, James Howard, Joshua Edward, Rachel Lucille, and Joseph Michael Jeter, Knoxville, TN, Jensy Autumn Singh Luna Widner and husband Ben, Oak Ridge, TN, Jasmine Amber Singh Zook, Inverness, FL, and Johnathan Singh, Inverness, FL; great grandchildren, Destiny and Dakota Jean Luna, Oak Ridge, TN, and Patrick Jamin Zook, Inverness, FL; sisters, Linda (Kenneth) Holstine, and Nora (Wayne) Wilson all of MO; brother, Joe (Ruth) Presley of IL; niece, Mary (Ray) Stone of West Plains, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 17, 2014, at West Village Christian Church, 637 Robertsville Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. with funeral services following, Pastor Rick Carr officiating. Interment on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN.
