Biography
Joshua was born about 1842. He is the son of Richard Presley and Dicey Cornwell. [1]
- JOSHUA AKA JOSIAH BY THE ARMY WAS FIRST IN THE MISSOURI STATE GUARD.
- WHEN THE CIVIL WAR STARTED HE ENLISTED IN THE 24TH MISSOURI INFANTRY (LYONS LEGION) AT ROLLA IN 1861.
- HE BECAME ILL IN THE WINTER OF 1861-62 AND WAS LEFT HOME WHERE HE DIED ON APRIL 1 1862.
- HEIGHT=5'111/2". HAIR=BLACK, EYES=BLACK, COMPLEXION=DARK
