Elizabeth Prest, daughter of Thomas Prest (occupation Husbandman) and Mary Johnson, was baptised 11 Jan 1805 at All Saints Church, Northallerton, Yorkshire. [1]
She married William Malthouse on 23 Jun 1823 at Aldborough, Yorkshire, England. [2]
They emigrated to South Australia with their children William, Margaret, Hugh, Dinah, Fanny, John, Albert and James, on the Macedon, arriving at Port Adelaide on 3 Oct 1849. [3]
She passed away age 69 on 3 May 1875 in Hindmarsh, South Australia [4] and was buried in Hindmarsh Cemetery. [5]
