Biography

John Preston was born on 29 May 1906 in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia[1], the son of William Preston and Alice Maud Ferguson and the brother of of Freda Preston, John Preston, Arthur Edward Preston, Elva Grace Preston, Lorna Linda Preston, Cedric Paul Preston, William Hilton Preston and Clancy Elmo Preston.

He married Mildred Cooper on 10 October 1936 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia[2] and were the parents of Jenny Preston.

He died on 5 July 1972 in Macksville, New South Wales, Australia[3].
