Have been actively researching since 1996, visiting my ancestors place of birth to obtain accurate information about them. I believe in accuracy, and only add people that are confirmed by sources, including obit notices. I have personally looked at every page of the NSW parish registers to 1856, the Newcastle Anglican Diocese parish registers to 1900 and other churches parish registers. There are 17 convicts in my family tree, 13 on my paternal line and 4 on my maternal line. the first convict arrived on the first fleet, John Rowe who married Isabella Manson from the second fleet. Other convicts are Joseph Craft and Sarah Robinson, Ann Beard and John O'Donald, William Bailey and Ann Archer, Jane Knight who arrived with her daughter Jane, Thomas Crumpton and Mary Harrison, three convicts, arrived on the Asia 1 in 1820. Joseph Preston, John Ferguson (paternal line) and William Bursill who married Hannah Smith (maternal line) The other two maternal line convicts are Charles Cooper and Charles Gogerley.
I am currently doing a DNA project to identify Elizabeth Smith b 1799, who has no accurate birth information. If you descend from Elizabeth Smith and have had DNA done, you may contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
Have you taken a DNA test for genealogy? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

That litle logo on the top right showing an unlocked lock means the profile is open. It also usually contains a covering phrase that goes something like "This profile is a collaborative work-in-progress. Can you contribute information or sources?" so please feel free to do do exactly what it says.
2. Frances Ann Thompson was born on 04 May 1832 in MacDonald River, New South Wales, Australia. She died on 05 Oct 1841 in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia. She married Pearce William Maund 24 May 1835 in St Mark Kennington Cross, London England. Getting married at age 3, wrong Frances Ann Thompson
I misplaced a sentence at the end of my gr-gr-gr grandfathers 2nd child on his profile which I have since corrected, so thank you for that. You could have mentioned were the mistake was in your critisism.
3. Hannah O'Donnell When she was 14, she married Joseph Preston, son of joseph Preston and Mary Potter, on 19 Jan 1829[ Who is Mary Potter?
The answer to this one is the same as the first.
I came to wikitree late, and more or less to try to clean up a ged file that a cousin uploaded years ago and asked for my help with. He has since passed away a few years back now, and I have consentrated more on verifying the Thompson line in this part of the tree, which I am descended from as well as trying to connect the family links in the Bailey, Fernance, Jurd, Preston and Walters families, (The Walters are also my direct line.). There are a lot of profiles connected to the other lines including the Preston line that are still orphaned, and even more that are controlled by others apart from myself. A lot of those were also uploaded as Gedcom files and have very little verification. There is a lot of work to go around.
So let me put it this way, if I control the profile and it's open, feel free to contribute/correct as you see fit. If it is controlled by someone else and is open, I sure they would welcome your contribution. That is what wikitree is for. If it is orphaned, feel free to take control of it if you like. If it is not an open profile, you can also ask to be added to the trusted list of a that profile.
