Biography

Ann was born in Crondall Hampshire in 1770. She is the daughter of Harvey Pretty and Mary Holloway. Ann was christened on 24 January 1770.

Ann married Thomas Vickery in Crondall on 23 February 1807, at age 37.

We believe she passed away about 1858.

Research Note

We have seen some research which suggests that Ann and Thomas were the parents of 1 son, William, perhaps born around 1810. We have been unable to confirm this. Also, while the death record below appears likely, we cannot be absolutely certain of its relevance here. If Ann survived until 1858, we might have expected her to appear in a couple of census, but we could not locate any verifiable census record for her, nor for Thomas.
